Results and conclusions

The study of the conducted questionnaires showed that:
- For the questionnaire regarding the agricultural potential evaluation, the applied technologies, as well as the evolution trend of the natural resources from the target zone there were questioned 193 individuals;
- The applied maintenance and exploitation technique for pasturelands is simple, minimal and extensive, therefore the obtained productions are reduced, much inferior to the normal productive potential;
- For most of the locals the agricultural field is not the only source of providing, considering that in every family there are employees, too;
- Pasturelands occupy a significant ratio in the cultivated field due to the specifics of the landscape and the tradition in animal breeding.
The experimental area is characterized by:
- A specific climate, major influenced by the particularities of the temperate transition continental climate , characterized by rough and difficult winters and summer rain-falls especially in the plain area;
- A significant influence, at the sub zonal level, of the landscape conditions (plain, hill, mountain), of the hydrological conditions (meadow) or soil conditions etc.;
- The development of almost all agricultural related activities branches: field cultures, vegetable farms, grape wine production, fruit tree farms, animal breeding;
- An important demographic potential, the area being one of the most populated in Romania;
- A significant economical potential.
The study of the biodiversity showed that:
- There were inventoried the plant species existing in the vegetal carpet and for the most well represented it was appreciated the covering process;
- The covering ratio was evaluated at 70-75%;
- The biggest share went to Arrhenatherum elatius - 60%, followed by Poa pratensis - 10 %, Lathyrus tuberosus - 2% and Coronila varia - 3%;
- " An important number of species are presented with insignificant shares (+) and a spreading more or less uniform- sometimes isolated plants.
