CONTRIBUTIONS ON THE STUDY OF THE CATTLE HUSBANDRY WITHIN THE CONDITIONS PROVIDED BY THE MOUNTAIN AREA IN NORTHERN ROMANIA

Abstract
In Romania, approximately 32.7% of the country is classified as LFA (disadvantaged areas). This territory is represented mainly by the mountain areas. The study was made at the "Timineanca" Breeders Association from Suceava, which has a total of 508 members and 2386 cattle. The primary data was taken from the OARZ Suceava and filled with comments from the field. The purpose was to reveal the features regarding the property areas owned by the members of the association, herds in COP, the technical equipment of the association members, the level of animal production and possibilities for making the area. The area of land allocated to members of the association is 2825.62 hectares represented by: 1211.75 ha grassland and 1623.87 ha hayfield. Hence, it is clearly seen that the main occupation of the members is animal husbandry. The minimum land area owned by a member of the association is 0.90 ha respectively 0031% and the maximum 39.38% ,1.39 ha respectively. Average yield of milk per total lactation for the animals included in the COP was 4627 kg with 4.3% and 204.1 kg fat and protein, 3.39% and 157.6 kilograms. On normal lactation this production was 3860 kg with 4.2% and 159.6 kg fat and protein, 3.37% and 128.8 kilograms. The number of cattle included in C.O.P. is only 9.05% respectively 216. At the association, on total, the average milk per normal lactation was less than 2175 kg and at standard equivalent of 3.5% fat, production is 2548 kg milk.

CONTRIBUTII LA STUDIUL CRESTERII TAURINELOR ÎN CONDITIILE ZONEI MONTANE DIN NORDUL ROMÂNIEI

Rezumat
In România, aproximativ 32,7 % din teritoriul tarii este clasificat drept LFA (zone defavorizate). Acest teritoriu este reprezentat cu precadere de zonele montane.
Studiul a fost efectuat la Asociatia crescatorilor de taurine "Timineanca" judetul Suceava, care detine un numar de 508 membrii cu un efectiv total de bovine de 2386 capete. Datele primare au fost preluate de la O.A.R.Z Suceava si completate cu observatii proprii din teren. S-au urmarit aspectele privind suprafetele de tren detinute de membrii asociatiei, efectivele cuprinse în C.O.P. , gradul de dotare tehnica a membrilor asociatiei, nivelul productiv al animalelor si posibilitati de rentabilizare a zonei.
Suprafata de teren atribuita membrilor asociatiei este de 2825,62 ha din care: 1211,75 ha pasuni si 1623, 87 ha fânat. De aici, rezulta, ca ocupatia de baza a membrilor asociatiei este cresterea animalelor. Suprafata minima de teren detinuta de un membru al asociatie este de 0,90 ha respectiv 0,031 % iar suprafata maxima 39,38 ha respectiv 1,39 %. Productia medie de lapte pe lactatie totala la efectivul cuprins în C.O.P. a fost de 4627 Kg cu 4,3 % si 204,1 Kg grasime iar proteina 3,39 % si 157,6 Kg. Pe lactatie nomala acesta productie a fost de 3860 Kg cu 4,2 % si 159,6 Kg grasime iar proteina 3,37 % si 128,8 Kg. Efectivul cuprins în C.O.P. este de numai 9,05 % respectiv 216 capete. La nivel de asociatie, pe total efectiv, productia medie de lapte pe lactatie normala a fost mult mai mica 2175 Kg iar la echivalent standart cu 3,5% grasime, productia este de 2548 Kg lapte.
