INFLUENCE OF THERMAL STRESS ON THE HEMATOLOGICAL PROFILE OF ONCORHYNCHUS MYKISS HELD IN DIFFERENT STOCKING DENSITIES IN RECIRCULATING AQUACULTURE SYSTEMS

Abstract
Hematological indices are important parameters for the evaluation of fish physiological status. The aim of present study was to obtain a basic knowledge of the hematological response of Oncorhynchus mykiss maintained in different technological condition induced by stocking density and temperature. Specimens belonging to two experimental groups had individual weights of 494.34±83.19 g respectively 558.04±46.51 g and the stocking density was 41 kg/m3 respectively 28 kg/m3.The sampling of Oncorhynchus mykiss blood from the four variants before and after the experimental trial allowed determination of hematological indices. Red blood cell counts (RBCc), hematocrit values (Hct), hemoglobin concentration (Hb), mean corpuscular volume (MCV), mean corpuscular hemoglobin (MCH) and mean corpuscular hemoglobin concentration (MCHC) were measured and analyzed, with routine methods used in fish hematology. Differences in hematological parameters were statistically analyzed by Student T test. Physiological stress, induced by maintenance in different technological condition induced by thermal stress, was reflected in the hematological indices (significant increase, p<0.05, RBCc, Hb, Ht, MCV and decrease insignificant, p >0.05 MCH, MCHC) with direct implications at the biotechnological level.

INFLUENŢA STRESULUI DE TEMPERATURĂ ASUPRA PROFILULUI HEMATOLOGIC AL SPECIEI ONCORHYNCHUS MYKISS CRESCUT ÎN DENSITĂŢI DIFERITE DE STOCARE ÎN SISTEM RECIRCULANT DE ACVACULTURĂ

Rezumat
Indicii hematologici sunt parametri importanti pentru evaluarea starii fiziologice a pestilor. Cercetarile din prezenta lucrare au urmarit raspunsul hematologic al pastravului curcubeu sub influenta densitatii diferite de stocare si temperaturii ridicate. Exemplarele de pastravu curcubeu din cele doua loturi experimentale au avut greutati individuale de 494,34±83,19 g/ex. respectiv 558,04±46,51 g/ex. si densitati de populare de 41 kg/mc respectiv 28 kg/mc. S-au recoltat probe biologice de sânge de la exemplarele de pastravului curcubeu atât la începutul cât si la sfârsitul perioadei experimentale. Cu ajutorul metodelor utilizate în hematologia pestilor s-a determinat si analizat numarul de eritrocite (Nr. E), hematocritul (Ht), cantitatea de hemoglobina (Hb), volumul eritrocitar mediu (VEM), hemoglobina eritrocitara medie (HEM), concentratia de hemoglobina eritrocitara medie (CHEM). Variatia indicatorilor hematologici a fost analizata statistic cu ajutorul testului T Student. Stresul fiziologic, indus de conditiile ecotehnologice (cresterea temperaturii si a densitatii de stocare ), s-a reflectat în indicatorii hematologici (cresterea semnificativa, p<0,05, a Nr. E, Hb,Ht, VEM, si reducerea nesemnificativa, p >0,05 a HEM si CHEM) cu implicatii directe la nivel biotehnologic.
