THE APRECIATION OF HEALTH CONDITION OF CHINESE CYPRINIDS BY THE MEDIUM OF SOME BIOMETRICAL, BIOCHEMICAL AND HEMATOLOGICAL INDICES

Abstract
By the mode in which it is implicated in the normal deploy of the major functions of the organism, the blood represents a key element in the underlining of fishes' general physiological condition. The data concerning the biochemical and hematological indices, with the most important bodily indices and coefficients, delineate the sanguine metabolic picture of fishes and the health condition of fish populations, heaving the role in the appreciation of trophycity degree of the studied aquatic basin. The biological material was represented of each ten representatives of two summer-old Aristichthys nobilis (bighead carp) and Hypophthalmichthys molitrix (silver carp), derived from the Piscicultural Farm Vladeni, County Iasi, determining a series of hematological indices (hemoglobin, hematocryte, number of erythrocytes, MCV, MCH, MCHC), biochemical (glucose and proteins), as well as the values of some indices of piscicultural maintenance (profile index, fleshy index, Kiselev index and the Fulton coefficient). Hereby, the hematological parameters were evaluated with the help of Melet Schloesing - MS 9.5 automatic hematological analyzer, the proteins through Lowry method, and the glucose through colorimetrical method with o-toluidine. The experimental results obtained underlines the fact that, in general, all parameters taken into study present appropriated values of the limits considerate normal in the literature data, pointing out a kind of difference between the two species of east-Asiatic cyprinids.

APRECIEREA STĂRII DE SĂNĂTATE LA CIPRINIDE CHINEZEŞTI PRIN INTERMEDIUL UNOR INDICI BIOMETRICI, BIOCHIMICI ŞI HEMATOLOGICI

Rezumat
Prin modul în care este implicat în desfasurarea normala a principalelor functii ale organismului, sângele reprezinta un element cheie în evidentierea starii fiziologice generale a pestilor. Datele privind indicatorii hematologici si biochimici, alaturi de cei mai reprezentativi indici si coeficienti corporali, contureaza tabloul metabolic sanguin al pestilor si starea de sanatate a populatiilor piscicole, având rol în aprecierea gradului de troficitate al bazinului acvatic studiat. Materialul biologic a fost reprezentat de câte zece exemplare de Aristichthys nobilis (novac) si Hypophthalmichthys molitrix (sânger) în vârsta de doua veri, provenite de la Ferma Piscicola Vladeni, judetul Iasi, determinându-se o serie de indici hematologici (hemoglobina, hematocrit, numar de eritrocite, VEM, HEM, CHEM), biochimici (glucoza si proteine), precum si valorile unor indici de întretinere piscicola (indicele de profil, de carnozitate, Kiselev si coeficientul Fulton). Astfel, parametrii hematologici au fost evaluati cu ajutorul analizorului hematologic automat Melet Schloesing - MS 9.5, proteinele prin metoda Lowry, iar glucoza prin metoda colorimetrica cu o-toluidina. Rezultatele experimentale obtinute evidentiaza faptul ca, în general, toti parametrii luati în studiu prezinta valori apropiate de limitele considerate normale în literatura de specialitate, semnalâdu-se o oarecare diferentiere între cele doua specii de ciprinide est-asiatice.
