FERTILIZATION CAPACITY OF BOAR SEMEN RELATED TO DILUTION AND DURATION OF PRESERVATION

Abstract
The objective of this study was to examine the effects of duration of storage of diluted boar semen fertilization rate in sows. The experience was used the "Atropozit" and "M22" bioproducts as diluents for boar sperm. The diluted semen was stored throughout periods of 2-3 days, 3-4 days, 4-5 days and 5-6 day at 16- 18°C. The fertility rate of the sows inseminated with diluted semen and stored 2-3 days was different compared to that achieved when used semen was stored for 4-5 days and 5-6 days, depending on the solvent used. Sows inseminated with semen diluted with "Atropozit" and stored at 16-18°C, during 5-6 days had a fecundity of 70% while in the sows inseminated with sperm stored in "M22" diluent, fecundity reached 68.7%.
CAPACITATEA FECUNDANTĂ A SPERMEI DE VIER ÎN FUNCŢIE DE DILUŢIE ŞI DURATA DE CONSERVARE

Rezumat
Acest studiu a avut ca obiectiv investigarea efectelor produse de durata de stocare a spermei diluate de vier asupra ratei fecunditatii scroafelor însamântate. În cadrul experimentului s-au utilizat bioprodusele "Atropozit" si "M22" ca diluanti ai spermei de vier. Sperma diluata a fost depozitata pe parcursul a 2-3 zile, 3-4 zile, 4-5 zile sau 5-6 zile, la temperatura de 16- 18°C. Rata fertilitatii scroafelor însamântate cu sperma conservata 2-3 zile a fost diferita fata de cea a femelelor însamântate cu lichid seminal pastrat pentru perioade de 4-5 zile, respectiv de 5-6 zile, în functie si de tipul de diluant folosit. Scroafele însamântate cu sperma diluata în "Atropozit" si pastrata la 16-18°C, pe parcursul a 5-6 zile, au avut o rata a fecunditatii de 70%, în timp ce femelele însamântate cu lichid seminal diluat în produsul "M22" au atins o rata a fecunditatii de 68.7%.
