RESEARCH ON FERTILITY AND PROLIFICACY OF THE SOWS ARTIFICIALLY INSEMINATED WITH DIFFERENT AMOUNTS SPERMATOZOIDS

Abstract
For the proposed research were used doses of semen obtained from two PIC boars and one Large White boar. Observations were extended from 16 months old boars up to 33 months. With the semen collected from the three boars were inseminated 567 half-breeds sows accommodated in household system. Sows were divided into two groups: the L1 group - comprising sows inseminated with 4 billions mobile spermatozoids /dose and L2 group - comprising sows inseminated with 2.5 billions mobile spermatozoids/dose. The average fecundity of sows in L1 group was 83.6%, insignificantly higher than that of sows in L2 group (82.4%). The average number of piglets obtained/farrowing at sows in L1 group was with 0.22 piglets higher than the number of piglets obtained at sows in L2 group (8.60 ± 0.2 piglets for L1 group; 8.38 ± 0.1 piglets for L2 group). The results show that the reduction from 4 billions to 2.5 billions the number of mobile spermatozoids/dose does not diminish the results of insemination.
CERCETĂRI PRIVIND FECUNDITATEA ŞI PROLIFICITATEA SCROAFELOR ÎNSĂMÂNŢATE ARTIFICIAL CU NUMĂR DIFERIT DE SPERMATOZOIZI

Rezumat
Pentru cercetarile propuse au fost utilizate doze de sperma obtinute de la 2 vieri PIC si un vier Marele Alb. Observatiile s-au extins de la varsta de 16 luni a vierilor pana la 33 de luni. Cu sperma colectata de la cei 3 vieri au fost insamantate 567 de scroafe metise crescute in sistem gospodaresc. Scroafele au fost grupate in doua loturi: lotul L1 - format din scroafe insamantate cu 4 mld. spermatozoizi mobili/doza si lotul L2 - format din scroafe insamantate cu 2,5 mld. spermatozoizi mobili/doza. Fecunditatea medie a scroafelor din lotul L1 a fost de 83,6%, nesemnificativ mai mare fata de cea a scroafelor din lotul L2 (82,4%). Numarul mediu de purcei obtinuti/fatare la scroafele din L1 a fost cu 0,22 purcei mai mare comparativ cu cel inregistrat la scroafele din lotul L2 (8.60 ± 0.2 purcei la lotul L1; 8.38 ± 0.1 purcei la lotul L2). Rezultatele obtinute demonstreaza ca reducerea de la 4 mld. la 2,5 mld. a numarului de spermatozoizi mobili/doza de insamantare nu diminuiaza rezultatele insamantarii.
