STUDY REGARDING SOME MORPHOLOGIC CHARACTERS OF THE BREEDING GROUND STALLION OF ROMANIAN SEMIGREU BREED

Abstract
For this study were analyzed a total of 61 stallions (8 half breed: Ardennes x Trotter; 5 half breed: Ardennes x local mares; 19 Semigreu Type I; 13 Semigreu Type II and 16 Romanian Semigreu) registered in a studbook, which activated, or activates as breeding in Ruşeţu stud from 1963 till present. Among the numerous body sizes, this paper focused only on four sizes (the waist height, the thoracic perimeter, the shinbone perimeter and the body weight). For the actual type of Semigreu, after processing the data obtained from measurements, on average, the characters studied had the following values: 156.44 ± 0.91 cm for waist height, 185.75 ± 2.15 cm for thoracic perimeter, 22.75 ± 0.25 cm for shinbone perimeter and 583.13 ± 7.76 kg for body weight. The waist, compared to the actual type, it was lower for half breed Ardennes x local mares (with 2.07%) and Semigreu Type II (with 1.55%), respectively higher for half breed Ardennes x Trotter (with 0.35%) and Semigreu Type I (with 0.69%). Concerning the thoracic perimeter, it had higher values in all other batches of stallions, respectively with 3.96% for Semigreu Type I, with 2.69% for half breed Ardennes x Trotter, with 2.61% for half breed: Ardennes x local mares and with 1.99% for Semigreu Type II. The shinbone perimeter had higher values in all other batches of stallions (with 0.21% for half breed: Ardennes x local mares, with 1.09% for Semigreu Type II, with 1.58% for Semigreu Type I and with 2.32% for half breed Ardennes x Trotter). For body weight, only Semigreu Type I had higher values (with 1.06), other batches had lower values, respectively with 2.46% for half breed Ardennes x Trotter, with 2.65% for Semigreu type II and with 5.68% for half breed: Ardennes x local mares. For all the studied characters the results enlightened that the studied stallions are presenting as a homogenous batch, although their ancestry is far different, aspect very important for consolidation of breed characters.
STUDIU PRIVIND UNELE CARACTERE MORFOLOGICE ALE ARMĂSARILOR PEPINIERI DIN RASA SEMIGREUL ROMÂNESC

Rezumat
Pentru realizarea acestui studiu au fost analizaţi un număr de 61 armăsari pepinieri, din care: 8 metişi Ardenez x Trăpaş, 5 metişi Ardenez x iepe locale, 19 Semigreu tip I, 13 Semigreu tip II şi 16 Semigreu românesc, înscrişi în registrul genealogic şi care au activat, sau activează, ca reproducători în nucleul de la Herghelia Ruşeţu începând cu anul 1963. Caracterele care au făcut obiectul studiului sunt: talia, perimetrul toracic, perimetrul fluierului şi masa corporală. Prelucrarea statistică a datelor, obţinute în urma efectuării măsurătorilor, au arătat că pentru caracterele studiate la tipul actual de Semigreu au rezultat următoarele valori medii: 156,44 ± 0,91 cm pentru talie, 185,75 ± 2,15 cm pentru perimetrul toracic, 22,75 ± 0,25 cm pentru perimetrul fluierului şi 583,13 ± 7,76 kg pentru masa corporală. În privinţa taliei, comparativ cu tipul actual, valoarea medie obţinută a fost mai mică la metişii Ardenez x iepe locale (cu 2,07%) şi la Semigreul tip II (cu 1,55%), respectiv mai mare la metişii Ardenez x Trăpaş (cu 0,35%) şi la Semigreul tip I (cu 0,69%). Referitor la perimetrul toracic, valorile determinate la toate celelalte grupe de armăsari au fost mai mari decât la tipul actual, respectiv cu 3,96% la Semigreul tip I, cu 2,69% la metişii Ardenez x Trăpaş, cu 2,61% la metişii Ardenez x iepe locale şi cu 1,99% la Semigreul tip II. şi în cazul perimetrului fluierului, valorilor obţinute la celelalte grupe de armăsari au fost puţin mai mari comparativ cu tipul actual de Semigreu (cu 0,21% la metişii Ardenez x iepe locale, cu 1,09% la Semigreul tip II, cu 1,58% la Semigreul tip I şi cu 2,32% la metişii Ardenez x Trăpaş). În privinţa masei corporale, doar în cazul Semigreului tip I s-au înregistrat valori mai mari (cu 1,06%) faţă de tipul actual), în rest valorile au fost mai mici, respectiv cu 2,46% la metişii Ardenez x Trăpaş, cu 2,65% la Semigreul tip II şi cu 5,68% la metişii Ardenez x iepe locale. Pentru toate dimensiunile corporale studiate, rezultatele au arătat că armăsarii studiaţi se prezintă ca un grup omogen, deşi ascendenţa lor este mult diferită, aspect deosebit de important pentru consolidarea caracterelor de rasă.
