RESEARCH CONCERNING THE SPECIALISTS' OPINION ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF INTEGRATED SERICICULTURE IN FAMILY REPRODUCTION FARMS

Abstract
The paper aimed to identify the specialists'opinion on the development of integrated sericiculture in family reproduction farms, using the structured questionnaire based survey on a sample of 480 individuals. The family reproduction farm needs 1 ha agricultural land (50 % mulberry plantation and 50 % seed plantation, layer making field, sowing field), 150 s.m. silkworms rearing space. This farm could achieve 400 kg silk cocoons, of which the most of part could be used for producing 1,000 egg boxes and distribute them to other farmers, 10 kg cocoons for silk filament, 25 kg pupae for pharmaceutical purpose, 50 kg unreeling cocoons for producing handicrafts in the farm, 10 kg lint, 2,000 kg layer wastes for fish feeding. From the analysis of 30 integrated production variants based on this model family reproduction farm, the interviewed persons have chosen 10 variants assuring to the farmer a profit ranging between Euro 80,223 Euro and respectively Euro 126,088 in the first 8 years of activity. As a conclusion, sericiculture could become a profitable sector by practicing integrated production management.

CERCETĂRI PRIVIND OPINIA SPECIALIŞTILOR ASUPRA DEZVOLTĂRII SERICICULTURII INTEGRATE ÎN FERME FAMILIALE DE REPRODUCŢIE

Rezumat
Lucrarea a avut ca scop identificarea opiniei specialiştilor asupra dezvoltării producţiei sericicole integrate în ferme familiale de reproducţie, folosind metoda chestionarului structurat pe un eşantion de 480 persoane. Ferma familială trebuie să dispună de 1 ha teren agricol (50 % plantaţie de dud, 50 % pentru câmp semincer, marcotieră şi câmp semănat), 150 m.p. spaţii de creştere a viermilor de mătase. Această fermă poate realiza 400 kg gogoşi mătase, din care cea mai mare parte poate fi utilizată pentru producerea a 1.000 cutii ouă şi distribuirea acestora către alţi fermieri, 10 kg gogoşi pentru fir de mătase, 25 kg crisalide crude în scop farmaceutic, 50 kg gogoşi nefilabile pentru procesare în produse artizanale în ferma, 10 kg scama, 2.000 kg resturi asternut pentru valorificare in hrana pestilor. Din analiza a 30 variante de productie integrata pe filiera create pe seama acestui model de ferma familiala de reproductie, persoanele intervievate au optat pentru 10 variante care asigura fermierului un profit cuprins intre 80.223 Euro si respectiv 126.088 Euro in primii 8 ani de activitate. In concluzie, sericicultura poate deveni un sector rentabil prin practicarea managementului integrat.
