THE HOLONIC ARCHITECTURE OF BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS WITH APPLICATION TO FOOD INDUSTRY

Abstract
    This paper aims at making a succinct analysis of general system theory (GST) and the implications of the concept of system upon Business Company connected to the environment in which it functions. We shall approach a business company/organization/ firm as an open complex system and we shall bring into discussion its compounds as sub-systems. Having in view the characteristics of a holonic system, the structure of such a system is graphically presented. Then, a study on the firm as a holonic structure, composed of hierarchically and/or network arranged n holons is made and some characteristics/analogies of current functioning of firms as against the functioning of other holarchies from nature or society are identified. A case study on Racova Vaslui holding firms is dealt with at the end of this paper and these firms form a holonic system encompassing a series of companies working in the field of food industry.

ARHITECTURA HOLONICĂ A ORGANIZAŢIILOR DE AFACERI CU APLICAŢIE ÎN INDUSTRIA ALIMENTARĂ

Rezumat
    În această cercetare ne propunem o analiză succintă a teoriei generale a sistemelor (TGS) şi implicaţiile conceptului de sistem asupra firmei de afaceri, conectată la mediul în care funcţionează. Vom aborda o companie / o organizaţie / o firmă de afaceri ca un sistem complex deschis şi vom discuta despre părţile ei componente ca fiind subsisteme. Având în vedere trăsăturile unui sistem holonic, vom prezenta grafic structura unui astfel de sistem holonic. Apoi vom face un studiu al firmei ca structură holonică, constituită din n holoni ordonaţi ierarhic (şi / sau tip reţea) şi identificarea unor caracteristici / analogii în funcţionarea curentă a firmelor faţă de funcţionarea altor holarhii din natură sau societate. În final vom prezenta studiul de caz al grupului de firme Racova Vaslui şi vom pune în evidenţă faptul că acestea alcătuiesc un sistem holonic care cuprinde o serie de societăţi din domeniul industriei alimentare.
