Field Parasitology International Summer School: 26 July - 5 August 2021, Danube Delta, Romania

The Field Parasitology International Summer School is organized since 2011 in Danube Delta by the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca (Romania). Between 2011 and 2012, the location was in Sfântu Gheorghe, at the junction of Danube with the Black Sea. Since 2013, the event has taken place annually (usually in July) in the traditional and remote village, Chilia Veche, on the Chilia branch of Danube, at the border of Romania with Ukraine.
The main site of the summer school is on Ostrovul Tătaru, a large island separated from the main village by the Tătaru channel and reachable only by boats or by the mobile bridge, crossing the channel. The facilities consist of a field station, offering basic accommodation facilities (camping, kitchen, outdoor showers and latrines) and a lab equipped for field parasitology diagnostics. A recreational area (table tennis, pool billiard, swimming pool) together with dining place for the evening is offered by Pensiunea Vital, a locally run touristic facility.

One request shall be filled per each exam from the academic year 2018/2019 and 1st semester, academic year 2019/2020. Exams from 2019/2020, 2nd semester don’t require registration at the Secretariat.

When paying, the student must specify "reexamination fee MV" and the proof of payment, along with the request/s of examination in doc/pdf,
shall be sent in a single email to the address secr_vet@uaiasi.ro until 06.07.2020.
Incomplete/incorrect request (which are not fully filled in) and receipts which do not mention "reexamination fee MV" cannot be processed.
Also, requests and receipts sent after 06.07.2020 will not be processed.
The schedule of the exams and colloquiums shall be published on the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Iasi website.
In this session, students can also increase their grades, only if they have passed all their exams before 05.07.2020; this can be done twice in an academic year. Requests shall be sent to the professor by email to receive the professor’s approval; then, the professor shall send the request to the Secretariat (on paper or by email to secr_vet@uaiasi.ro) until 06.07.2020.

Note: the fee for these re-examinations are:
- exams from 2019/2020, 1st semester – 50 RON
- exams from 2018/2019, 1st and 2nd semester – 100 RON

During the examinations session (25.05 – 21.06.2020), students from the IInd - IVth years of study can retake failed exams from the IInd semester of the academic year 2018/2019 on the date set for those subjects in their respective year of study.
