COPERNICUS DATABASE
Since 2010, Journal "Scientific papers - Veterinary Medicine
” Series is issued biannualy, in June and December.
A supplement containing a selection of papers presented at
the "Progress and Perspectives in Veterinary Medicine"
Annual Scientific Symposium is published anually, in
September, besides the two issues.
Articles are considered for publication depending on: scientific
value, originality of the research and the manuscript submission
date.
Manuscript received by the Editorial staff will be reviewed by the
selected Scientific reviewers. If reasonable corrections are
necessary, these will be made by the Editorial staff.
Only the English version of the chosen articles will be published
(with abstracts in English and Romanian).
If the manuscript is not conform to accepted standards of English
usage, the manuscript will be rejected.
The articles may be rejected without peer-review, if they do not
comply with the editorial recommendations to authors or are
beyond the scope and aims of this Review. In this cases, the
Editorial staff reserves the right to return the rejected article for
revision to the authors.
Peer review process
1. All papers submitted will be subject to blind refereeing by two
referees, who are generally asked to classify the paper as
publishable immediately, publishable with amendments and
improvements, or not publishable.
2. After the peer review process, authors will be informed about
possible amendments and improvements they have to bring to
their papers. It may take one up to two months before a decision
is reached on a full-length manuscript.
3. Papers will be accepted without change, accepted subject to
revisions requested by referees being carried out by authors as
required, or rejected.
4. The author will be informed about the result of the peer review
process.
5. We encourage all authors to inform us of any change in their
address, contact telephone numbers, or e-mail address, in order
to avoid delays in the peer review and publishing process.
