STUDY REGARDING THE HONEY-BEARING POTENTIAL OF MIROSLAVA VILLAGE, IAŞI COUNTY

Abstract
   Miroslava village is located in the central part of Iaşi County, respectively 47°08' North latitude and 27°29' East longitude, being framed in terms of beekeeping in the bio-beekeeping area of Moldova Plateau, being characteristic the gathering of type II. The honey-bearing potential of the village, estimated at over 107000 kg offered by bees from species composition of forests in the area, spanning approx. 660 ha, respectively crops, orchards, pastures, meadows, etc., occupying over 4000 hectares, would allow maintenance under stationary beekeeping of around 880 beehives.

Rezumat
   Comuna Miroslava este situată în partea centrală a judeţului Iaşi, respectiv la 47008' latitudine nordică şi 27029' longitudine estică, fiind încadrată, din punct de vedere apicol, în zona bioapicolă a Podişului Moldovei, fiindu-i caracteristic tipul II de cules. Potenţialul melifer al comunei, estimat la peste 107000 kg, oferit de speciile melifere din componenţa padurilor din zonă, ce se întind pe cca. 660 ha, respectiv din culturile agricole, livezi, păşuni, fâneţe, etc., care ocupă peste 4000 ha, ar face posibilă întreţinerea, în condiţii de stupărit staţionar, a cca. 880 familii de albine.
