Viile Budureasca SRL owns in the Tohani - Dealul Mare wine growing region (Prahova County), a vineyard with a surface of about 275 ha.
The reconversion of the vine plantations and the performant technologies implemented by Viile Budureasca SRL in recent years have resulted in a top position among the wine producers in Romania. The plantations are grown with varieties for red wines such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Black Feteasca, Merlot, Pinot Noir and Shiraz, which best value the quality and production potential in this area. In addition to these varieties are found for white wines Sauvignon, Fetească regală, Chardonnay, Fetească albă, Pinot gris and Riesling italian and for aromatic wine Tamaioasa românească, Busuioacă de Bohotin and Muscat Ottonel varieties. As a result of its technological and financial efforts, Viile Budureasca SRL is currently one of the leading quality wine producers in Romania, present in all major hypermarket chains, wine shops and in the HoReCa system throughout the country.
Through this research project, funded by UEFISCDI Romania, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine elaborate for the Budureasca Company, the map of viticultural potential of the area Budureasca - Gura Vadului - Vadu Săpat whitin wich are located its vine plantations The viticultural potential map will be used by Budureasca Company to adapt the technologies to the viticultural potential of the area, depending on the specifics of the wine varieties grown and the expected type of wine production.
